Originally, this blog started off as three friends travelling around Taiwan in 2014, and we decided to make a blog called Foreigners in Taiwan.
Now there is only one of us left in Taiwan, Larry Johnson, who continues to carry on the flame. I am an American from Seattle, USA. Before I came to Taiwan, I studied Mandarin and have a bachelor's degree Chinese. I have lived in Taiwan since 2014. I have spent time living across over six counties and cities in Taiwan, found local jobs here, got a driver's license, bought a scooter, bought a car, rented multiple apartments, got married, have two kids, and bought a house. I have travelled extensively in every county and city in Taiwan and I am happy to share my experiences with you so that you can also enjoy life in Taiwan.
I have extensive experience living and working in Taiwan. In my day, I had to learn many things about Taiwan the hard way. But I have come to learn that Taiwan is one of the best places in the world for Foreigners to live.
I blog to help foreigners learn how to survive and enjoy life in Taiwan.
My blog does not represent the opinions of every foreigner in Taiwan. I am just trying to help others learn more about this beautiful country.

本來這個部落格是由三位朋友在2014年遊台灣時開始的，我們決定開始「外國人在台灣的」的部落格。 現在，只有我一人留在台灣，我是Larry Johnson，繼續傳承這份使命。我是來自美國西雅圖的美國人。在我來到台灣之前，我學過中文並獲得了中文學士學位。我自2014年起就在台灣生活。 在拜訪高雄的茂林山區後，我決定台灣實在太美了，我需要找一個方法永遠留在這裡。我曾在台灣六個縣市居住過，找到當地的工作，拿到駕照，買了摩托車，買了汽車，租了多間公寓，結了婚，有了兩個孩子，並買了房子。我在台灣的每個縣市都有廣泛的旅行經驗，我很樂意與大家分享我的經歷，讓你也能享受台灣的生活。 我在台灣生活和工作的經驗非常豐富。在我生活的日子裡，我必須艱辛地學習許多有關台灣的事情。但我已經了解到，台灣是世界上最適合外國人居住的地方之一。 我寫部落格是為了幫助外國人學習如何在台灣生存和享受生活。 我的部落格不代表台灣每個外國人的意見。我只是想幫助其他人了解更多關於這個美麗的國家。
