Our Journey: I have been to the Sheraton a few times but I have only eaten at Kitchen 12 once. It it probably the best meal I have ever had. The quality is superb and the variety of food is also unparalleled. I highly recommend visiting here. I booked a meal voucher for a discount via KKday here and I recommend you do the same. The meal voucher saves you about 20% off and you do not have to pay an extra service fee! You can book a room at the Taipei Sheraton Grand Hotel on Agoda here or Booking.com here.
You will notice there is a bus station here right in front of the hotel. My wife who is Taiwanese said that she used to wait for the bus here every morning and look at all the fancy people eating at Kitchen 12 inside. She never imagined one day she would be able to eat here too.
You will notice that the people in the restaurant are seated higher above the sidewalk so that they can literally look down upon the unwashed peasants waiting for the bus.
We had lunch here which starts at 11 AM.
Make sure you make a reservation in advance and get there on time, otherwise you may not find a spot to eat. This restaurant is usually sold out.

We waited patiently in line for a few minutes and then we were led to our table.
Full view of the main restaurant area.
We were seated next to the window with a nice view of Zhongxiao East Road.
You will notice the restaurant sits at the bottom of a giant atrium/courtyard in the middle of the Sheraton. You can see the elevator and rooms and floors all above you.
The sushi and sashimi bar here is excellent.
Sashimi on display.
Sushi rolls.
The sashimi here is nice and thick. You will get full.
There is also plenty of seafood here, the most popular being steamed crab legs.
You can see some people have taken a little too many crab legs.
There is also a place to get duck meat and noodles here too.
There is also a steak, pork chop, and lamb chop area here.
We enjoyed unlimited crab legs, steak, and mutton chops.
There is also an excellent authentic Indian curry buffet area.
I had about three plates of this delicious lamb curry.
There is also a cold salad and seafood area in the middle of the restaurant.
Crab and clam salad.
Cram and mussels mixed with some sweets.
Refrigerated cakes and puddings.
Cheesecake and lemon cakes.
More breads and cakes.
An oven full of egg tarts.
Another round of desserts which were delightful.
Haggen Dazs Ice Cream.
Mingo Ice Cream.
Strawberry, caramel, and mango ice cream.
Cherry blossom soft serve with actual cherry blossoms!
Fruit bar.
Beverage bar.
Fruit juice bar.
Brew bar.
Before we knew it, we were stuffed silly and ready to head home.
Another view looking up at the ceiling of the Sheraton.
They also have a small bakery inside Kitchen 12 where you can buy some desserts to take home.
