The Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park (臺北市客家文化主題公園) serves as a hub for Taipei residents to learn about Hakka culture and offers a recreational space. The park features a cultural center, library, communal gardening area, bike paths, green spaces, and more. Now it is a popular recreation area for local residents.
Background: Taipei Hakka Cultural Park was established in 2015 to provide education and exchanges regarding Hakka culture for Taipei City residents. It provides a gathering spot for the Hakka community in the city to connect and share their cultural memories. The park underwent renovations in 2019 which were completed in 2022 to improve the facilities there. Map: Please see below: Our Journey: I have been to Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park once and it is truly one of the most unique parks in Taipei. It is the only place in Taipei City where I have seen a communal gardening center. IF you like gardening and you are interested in Hakka Culture, this is the place for you.

There is also a large covered area where people can hold events rain or shine. Inside the building there is also a museum and a library you can check out.
The whole area is wheelchair accessible and connects up with the riverside bike paths.
