Water House is an excellent Hot Spring Hotel in Beitou with perhaps the best deal for the money in the area. Breakfast and private baths are included. There are also public bathing areas. The Hotel is also right next to Thermal Valley and the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. You can also book a hot spring experience with afternoon tea on KKday here. It is definitely a decent hotel worth considering in Beitou.

Our Journey:
I have stayed at Water House once, but is a prominent hotel that I have noticed before and that I wrote about in our hot spring hotel guide here.
We booked a hot spring experience with afternoon tea on KKday here. It was an afternoon hot spring bath with a meal and unlimited ice cream. It was a good deal that I would highly recommend.
I recommend travelling here by MRT because there is not much parking available. This is the view from the hotel from down the street.
There are a few car parking spaces in front of the hotel but they can fill up fast. The front of the hotel seems to be made out of an older hotel that perhaps was demolished.

In here, there is also scooter parking and about 4 more car parking spaces.
View from outside the main entrance.

After we checked in, we were taken to our room.
As part of the deal on KKday here, we also had access to unlimited ice cream. Eat it before it melts.
Bed and shower in the room.
Private hot spring bath.

Chocolate ice cream bar.
There is also a roof area on the hotel with great views of Beitou.

There is also an entrance at the top here that connects with the outside road.
I don't think this entrance is used as often.

Beitou Hot Spring Museum 北投溫泉博物館
Beitou’s Hot Spring Museum (北投溫泉博物館) was once the largest bathhouse in East Asia during the Japanese era, dating back to 1911. However, after its heyday, the bathhouse fell into disrepair. Now, it has been renovated into a museum celebrating the history and culture of hot springs in Beitou. It is a must-see if you visit Beitou. Check out our full blog on this museum here.
Thermal Valley 地熱谷
Thermal Valley (aka Geothermal Valley, Ghost Lake, Jade Spring Valley, or Hell Valley 地熱谷) is a bubbling and steaming turquoise pool, that is one of the sources of Beitou’s hot springs and one of only two green sulfur hot springs in the world. Here you can take a walk around the entire pool, enjoy the scenery, and understand more about the history and geology of the area. With convenient transportation from the MRT and free entrance, it is a popular tourist destination in Beitou. It is definitely a must-see spot if you visit Beitou.
