Taiwan is a tremendously exciting place to visit, with the many venues created to appease tourists perfectly complementing its beautiful natural scenery. In every major city globally, the nightlife offers a distinctly different aura than the hectic, business-driven scene of the daytime. If you’re visiting Taipei City, be sure to have enough energy to venture out after dark. Perhaps the highlight attraction of nighttime Taipei is the Raohe Night Market. The Taiwanese capital transforms into a bustling eatery centered around the market, with each local delicacy on offer across the stalls.
After grabbing a bite to eat, it’s onto the nightclubs. Of all of the bars available, Triangle stands out despite being on the smaller side. Situated on Yumen Street in the Zhongshan District, it’s a small but booming venue, often selling cheap drinks with live music playing. To the south-eastern side of the city, you’ll be able to find the Wave Club in the Xinyi District. With an open bar, an outdoor sky bar, late opening hours, dancers, and DJs, it’s one of the city’s best nightclubs. Testing your luck at the table in Taiwan

In the slower-paced city of Hsinchu, there are several things to do, including visiting the Chenghuang Temple and Hsinchu Zoo, but one of the most popular choices is going to the casino. Situated within the Gold Sand Hotel, the casino floor is the main attraction of the area, and one of the primary reasons why people stay at the venue – offering a mini Macao of sorts on the island of Taiwan.
That said, many people in Taiwan spend their time relaxing and playing casino games without needing to travel to one of the few casino venues. In Taiwan, there are several online casinos available to Chinese players, which also cater to Europeans and North Americans. With all of the table games, brand new slot games, and live games, it’s easy to see why gamers just play their casino games online instead of going all the way to a land-based casino. There are some truly epic skyscrapers dotted around Taiwan, including Taipei 101 in the capital, 85 Sky Tower in Kaohsiung, and the Far Eastern Mega Tower in New Taipei, but the most incredible sights to be seen are out in the wild. The island nation is famous for its national parks and epic bridges to help you get around them. Kenting National Park is a favorite among beach lovers, with the Yangmingshan National Park being perfect for some scenic hiking.
As well as the impressive national parks that are certainly worth exploring, there are several natural points of interest to home-in on if you’re a bit short on time. The biggest natural attraction of the country is Taroko Gorge, found in Taroko National Park. However, if you’d prefer to see the sights with your feet up, hop on the Alishan mountain railway to wind around the mountain tops. Whether you enjoy the nightlife, casino gaming, or natural wonders, Taiwan has it all.
